The 2012 Gene Kelly Awards were held last night in Kelly’s hometown of Pittsburgh. The event, which you can read more about here, celebrates and honors outstanding performances and productions of high-school musical theatre. Think Glee, but arguably better and with fewer melodramatic plots revolving around student-teacher hookups, texting while driving, and teen marriage. (Er, we hope that’s the case anyway.)
