Submissions may be short or long, centered around the following:
- a musical number
- film
- a certain photo
- piece of clothing/costuming
- quote
- YouTube compilation/montage
- physical attribute
- particular dance move
- general contribution(s) to dance
- Gene’s star image
- non-musical films
- his presence on television or onstage
- and/or anything else that addresses the call to celebrate Gene Kelly.
